The Gunnison Research and Archaeological Stewardship Project (GRASP) is dedicated to preserving and studying the rich archaeological heritage of the Upper Gunnison Basin, Colorado. Through collaborative research, community engagement, and educational outreach, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the region's past while promoting respect for its cultural significance. Together, we work to safeguard our shared history for future generations.

GRASP Introduction and the Mountaineer Folsom Site by Dr. Brian Andrews
Join us for GRASP's inaugural archaeology event featuring archaeologist Dr. Brian Andrews. Dr. Andrews will give a presentation about the Mountaineer Folsom Site, which dates back more than 12,000 years and is currently the oldest archaeological site in the Upper Gunnison Basin. Admission is free, but space is limited.
